In fact, there was also a protest demonstration in front of the National Stadium today. The reason for this is due to the Coronavirus. In Japan, vaccination has not progressed and the number of infected people is increasing. IOC President Bach has also decided not to visit Japan in May. Japan has already spent about 3 trillion yen and should have the courage to cancel the Olympics.
This diagram shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity. In geothermal power plants, thermal energy is converted into kinetic energy, which is further converted into electricity. In order to get electricity from kinetic energy, it is necessary to turn a turbine, and the mechanism of turning the turbine is interesting.
The first step is to send cold water 4.5 kilometers underground. The water is heated by geothermal energy. The warmed water becomes steam and turns the turbine.
The water is heated only by geothermal heat and nothing else is used. In other words, this process can be done by only natural processes. Therefore, this process does not require any other resources or materials.

The water then is heated and pumped up from the production well. Meanwhile, it passes through a condenser which converts the hot water into steam. The steam then is utilized to power the turbine. The turbine in turn, produces electricity which is made available to the consumers.
