今日は会議が長かった…。
朝の9時30分からスタートした会議は11時に終わり、11時30分からスタートした会議は14時30分に終わった。長すぎる…。
業務のほとんどが会議だった。
今日は珍しくこちらの記事にコメントがついていた。私が間違っていると記事を読まずにコメントしてきたので、丁寧に返信をしておいた。写真とかもつけているのだから、ちゃんと読んでから批判のコメントはして欲しい…。
今日もテレワークだったので、BizEnglishについて書きたいと思います。

DAILY DIARY_THINK IN ENGLISH CHALLENGE
Today’s work was mostly meetings. The first meeting was from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and it was a meeting about our progress for the week. The next meeting was from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm, and we gave a demonstration of our project to the next section chief. At the meeting, we discussed the concept and detail of our algorithm, and the evaluation of the processing results. This meeting was originally scheduled to end at 12:30 pm, but the discussion got so long that it ended at 2:30 pm.

The line graph illustrates/compares how much people in the United States and the United Kingdom spend on fuel according to their income level/ social status. The horizontal axis of the graph shows income, and the vertical axis shows fuel consumption per percentage of income.
With regards to the data concerning the United States, the fuel consumption ratio peaked about 5 percent among the poorest group and steadily decreased to about 2 percent among the richest group. (The trend in the consumption of fuel in the US shows that as people get richer, their consumption becomes lesser.)
On the other hand, the different trends can be seen in the United Kingdom. Between the poorest and middle-income groups, the percentage steadily increased from about 0.5 percent to about 4 percent. However, among the richest group, there is a gradual downward trend to about 3 percent.
People in the UK belonging to the poorest spend a range of .5 – 2 % of their income on fuel.
Among the richest group, the percentages in the United States and United kingdom were the same at about 4 percent and then both of them declined. However, the decline was larger in the United States.
感想
グラフを詳しく説明するのは難しい…。
今週1週間は全然英語が出てこなかった…。
おわりに
今日の仕事を最後にGW突入。
私は6日まで休む予定。
ただ、コロナのせいで特にこれといった予定はない…。
