だいたい頼んでから3か月くらいたった気がする。まぁ予約注文だったが…。

DAILY DIARY_THINK IN ENGLISH CHALLENGE

I received my ZOZOGLASS today. ZOZOGLASS is a pair of glasses and made by ZOZO inc. You can order it on the ZOZO website and the company will deliver it to you for only the shipping fee. By wearing the glasses and taking a picture with the special app, we can measure the color of our skin. By measuring our skin color, the company can suggest cosmetics and clothes that match our skin color.

Agree or disagree: Technology can reduce poverty

I disagree with the idea that technology can reduce poverty. In fact, technology can improve our life; it makes money and enriches our life. However, technology creates more disparities among people. People who have technology and can use it will have a better life, while those who do not, will not only fail to have a better life, but even lose their jobs because these can be replaced by robots and other means.

Actually, China’s technology has made the country richer, but only the cities are wealthy, and the gap between the rich and the poor is widening. In addition, AI innovation has been accelerating recently. This technology may even be able to replace jobs that could not be replaced by robotics until now. The more technology develops, the more jobs people will lose and the more the gap between rich and poor will widen.

Ultimately, technology is just gathering everyone’s wealth to a few people. The only way out of poverty is to have technology, but most technologies are based on the foundation of what has come before. Therefore, the only way out of poverty is to go to an environment where technology is available and learn about it. In conclusion, I think that technology can help us get out of poverty, but it will not eliminate poverty.
