DAILY DIARY_THINK IN ENGLISH CHALLENGE

Today, I will write about my grandfather. His hobby is gardening. His garden was really beautiful until a few years ago. But now, it is messy and not beautiful. This is due to the fact that he can not stop wanting things. He had kept his feelings in check until recently, which created adequate space in his garden and kept it beautiful. Recently, however, he changed his attitude, saying that he had only a few years left to live. He buys rocks, trees, and all kinds of other things to put in his garden as if he were spending all his money. As a result, now his garden is not beautiful(attractive, pleasing to the eyes).

The time-bending power of your brain | BBC Ideas

Time is always flowing in one direction, and its speed is constant. However, what we know is that the speed of time can depend on each person because it is somehow a psychological construct, time. Our brains figure out what is happening outside but it has to do a lot of editing tricks. Our visions and our hearings process signals at different speeds, but the brains have to be collecting all the information before it puts together a final story and serves that up to our conscious perceptions. It means what we think is happening right now has actually already transpired. Our brains are especially sensitive to new things. The feeling that things are going in slow motion is a trick of memory. When you write everything that happens around you into your memory and your brain reads it back, your brain’s only conclusion is that it must have taken a long time. That could explain why people think that time seems to speed up as they grow older. When we were children, we made discoveries everyday and these were written in our memory. But now we have already had a lot of experiences. As a result, we do not have a lot of new memories, we feel that the year just went by in a flash when we look back at the end of the year.
I agree with this article. In fact, I feel that time is accelerating every year. This is especially true when I get used to the environment. In order to feel as though I have lived longer, I will continue to try something new!
