また一週間が始まってしまった。
タイトルがネタ切れなのと、ほんとになにもしていないので、タイトルに書くことがない…。
BizEnglish以外も何もしていないので、今日はBizEnglishについてだけ書きます。
BizEnglish11日目
やっとBizEnglish11日目。
まだ6分の1しか終わっていない。
とくに成長した感じはいまのところ感じていない。
そして、とにかく忙しい。
はやく3か月が経ってくれといつも思っている。
あらかじめ授業の時間が決まっていて、半強制的な環境じゃなかったらとっくに挫折しているとおもう。そういった意味ではBizEnglishは強制力が強いのでよい。
今日も宿題が2つ。
一つはいつも通りDAILY DIARY_THINK IN ENGLISH CHALLENGEといっている英語での日記。
もう一つがIceberg Breaksという1分程度の英語の文章を聞いて、サマリと意見を書くというのだった。
宿題
DAILY DIARY_THINK IN ENGLISH CHALLENGE
I played a riddle-solving with my friends last Saturday. It is made by SCRAP which is a mystery maker company. It can be played at home so I invited them to my home. We had about 4 hours to solve all the riddles. The company also makes some riddles in English. So if you come to Japan, please try solving mysteries made by the company. That will be very difficult but very fun.
After playing it, We had sushi which was delivered for dinner. It was a little expensive, but it was delicious.
After dinner, We played ”super mario party” on switch together. This was the first time I played the game with four, as I usually only play with one or two, so it was very fun. They went back home at 10:30 pm because they would not miss the last train.
Iceberg Breaks
Scientists have been closely watching the many cracks and chasms that have formed in the northern section of the Brunt Ice Shelf in Antarctica with GPS instruments and satellite imagery. Satellite monitoring is especially important through the long and dark winter months to be able to use regardless day or night. From their daily survey, we know that a newer crack widened rapidly before finally breaking free from the rest of the floating ice shelf. The iceberg is 150 meters thick and covers an area of 1,270 square kilometers.
I think these cracks are caused by global warming. The higher the temperature, the easier it is for the ice to melt. The effects of global warming is not only the collapse of ice shelves. For example, in my hometown, there is less snow in winter than my childhood. The huge iceberg might be a warning from the earth to humans in order to stop global warming.

感想
英語での日記を書いたけど、これは明日に回すことになった。
今日は英語でフィリピンや日本の文化についての会話だった。
一部聞き取れないところはあったが、ほとんど聞き取れたので良かった。
ただ、相手の顔を観ながらだと聞き取れても、文章を観ながらとか音声だけだと途端に聞き取りが難しくなるのはなぜだろう。
文化についてだが、先生はなぜか日本の文化にもそこそこ詳しい。
フィリピンには色が黒くて背の低いアイタという先住民がいるらしいが日本にもアイヌがいるでしょ？みたいに聞いてきて、詳しいな…となった。
また、先生はドイツ人、中国人、スペイン人などの混血らしいが、私は日本人だけ？みたいに聞いてきて、it’s crazy. みたいなことを言っていたので、日本人の感覚とは逆で、混血が普通なんだろうなとなった。
それについて文化の違いなので嫌な気持ちとかは一切ならないが、フィリピン面白いなと思った。
たしかに、顔が日本にいるフィリピン人ぽくないなとは思ったが、そういうわけだったのか。
おわりに
今日もテレワークしかしていないので、平日は日記の内容が英語学習ノートみたいになってしまっている…。
話は変わるが、最近花粉症があまりにひどいので、コスパ最強と名高いSHARPのKC-J50-Wという空気清浄機を買ったら、劇的に寝やすくなった。おすすめ！！
KC-J50-Wの50手前にあるJはHとかLとかいろいろあって、それぞれ何年モデルかを表しているらしいが、基本的な性能は大きく変わらないとどこかに書いてあった。古い順に並べるとH, J, Lで、性能的にはH, Jが微妙に違うが、JとLはほぼ同じらしい。基本的には安いやつでいいんじゃね？ってかんじらしい。
